Procurement Manager-Khartoum
Gross Salary 12,000 SDG
Save the Children Sweden (SC Sweden), an international children's rights focused organization, is looking for qualified candidate to fill the position of Procurement Manager. The initial contract period will be One Year with possibly extension. The procurement Manager will be baled in Khartoum Reports to: Had of Logistics
ROLE PURPOSE
Develop and manage the procurement function for SCS Countrywide. Ensure transparent, effective, efficient and accountable management of procurement for all funding sources; availability of UK'S, equipment, supplies, materials and services at the best possible pace and quiity and efficient use of SC resources. Formulate the procurement strategy, and build capacity within the procurement function across the county; understand Save the Children's policies and procedures surrounding procurement and =sure these are implemented correctly.
Main Responsibilities:
Overall supervision for the Khartoum procurement unit and develop countrywide procurement plc. in coordination with all relevant units Process ail procurement of goods from local and abroad for SCS offices in Sudan, coordinate with SCS offices to ensure ±e regular and timed, !!'443:101/ of required supplies
Coordinate with SC regional procurement unit for all international procurement and ,r.e customs processes with admin
Have tut responsibility and accountability to ensure effective, transparent: and timely procurement for an goods and to be fully documented.
Update preferred suppliers and price lists on periodic basis
Ensure procurement monthly tracking reports are propciy prepared and :hazed with the concerned people in the field and Khartoum
Prepare contracts for various Os, including oat-sourcing, axis-traction, and short term cooiracz with various commercial establishments
Put in place framework agreements for key and most frequent purchases
liaising and updating the files and records of procurement of goods
Oversight role for the functioning of the department due to rules is followed and fair/transparent purchasing decisions are made

Any other duties requested by the line Manager or Had of the unit
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential
University degree in Business Administration or any other relied field
At least 5 years in procurement in private sector
Highly organized and detail oriented, pro and has strong verbal, written and intent Computer literate (ie. Word, advanced Excel)
Patient, adaptable, flexible able to improvise and remain responsive and communicate clearly and effectively under pressure
Excellent planning, management and coordination skills, with the ability to organise a workload comprised of varying and changing tasks and responsibilities
Ability and willingness to travel regularly to project sites. Additional job responsibilities
